How to increase the filesystem size on Linux

One of the day to day task of a system admin is working on the filesystem issues. Scenario Suppose that /dev/vg0/data01 was originally an 100GB logical volume containing an ext3 filesystem. (The method is not LVM specific, but could be usefully applied to any block device that can be resized without destroying its contents.) Method We’ll resize using the resize2fs command.
